Brent Perkins

Brent graduated from Moapa Valley High School in Overton, Nevada in 1967 and from SUSC (SUU) in Cedar City, Utah in 1974 with a BA in Elementary Education and German. He taught one year in Utah before returning to Nevada (Caliente) where he taught fourth grade through sixth grade the remaining 30 years. Besides normal teaching duties he was also lead teacher from 1990-1992. Brent retired in 2005 after a total of 31 years in education and now enjoys full-time hobbies including gardening, photography, and other artistic explorations. He has participated in the Community Environmental Monitoring Program (CEMP) since 1988.
